I'm going to plagiarize myself here:

Recently, someone said I suffer from an overabundance of confidence, coupled with a mediocre intellect, and therefore I am unable to see just how foolish and bothersome my incessant commentary is. It was a slam, obviously, but it was funny nonetheless.

But this is not always so funny. There are cases where this phenomenon is real. It's a reality of these forums that most of us have to respectfully avoid those who suffer from this mixture of self-assurance and obtuseness.

If you typically post five-thousand word posts, and then nobody shows up to argue, chances are the reason is people are just being polite (or, if you're the type of person who might be prone to use "propagate" to mean "propagandize"...)

;)

So, I'll buy a batch of P!
