While the Big Bang is a theory, Evolution is not.

Evolution simply states that species change, we know species change. Some species will change slightly over your lifetime. Mothes have changed colors in different environments over a course of a few years, and other various creatures change slightly from decade to decade. Thus, evolution is fact.

The theory part comes in to explain WHY species change. Natural Selection is one such theory, and the most accepted theory to explain this.
