Logic shows you relationships between things, belief does not. If you believe in gods, you then can NOT explain how things work, because YOUR explanation is: Gods make it work.

In contrast, logic tells: it works because its behavior logically (=mathematically) follows from initial conditions. And then by knowing different conditions you can logically PREDICT what will happen at those conditions too. That is why science is so powerfull in explaining and PREDICTING behavior of things.

No religion is capable of explaining and especially in PREDICTING how things behave.
