I'm with ya on this one. Everything is a consequence of something deeper, which can ultimately be traced back to a "primordial symmetry" if you will. I just love looking for loopholes to fit "God" into the picture though. It would trouble me to say that something resembling that of a "God" were not allowed soley on grounds of conservation laws. Afterall, I could influence the events in your life without violating conservation, so why not God?

If some people think relativity has some oddities... just wait 'til the meet up with quantum physics! Talk about not obeying "human interpreted logic"...

Also alex, when you say time travel, I take it you actualy mean "revisiting one's own past". afterall, as of this moment while I type... I do exist in your past because of our spatial separation and the orientation of our respective light cones. Conversly and seemingly contradictingly, you are right of this moment with respect to my proper-frame... in my past.
