Whoever measures color (frequency, or energy) of a photon from hydrogen atom gets THE SAME value regardless his senses, pattern of thinking, religion, mathematical notations he uses, system of units he likes more, etc.

There is NO pattern matching in science. May be there is in philosophy (and, of course, there is in religion - without knowledge all you can do is to match "pattern" of action of god(s) in your head with facts). If science would rely not on facts (and mathematcal origin of those facts - which we call laws of nature), then there would be NO science (numbers) but only "patterns" in our heads (and of course, as many DIFFERENT patterns as many heads are around). And we would still live in stone age without meter sticks, balances and clocks.

This is basicly, what we have in philosophy and religion - just people's opinin (patterns in their imagination) not backed by any number (thus, in most cases unverifiable). Thus is why there are as many philosophies as many philosophers, not to say about religion opinions.
