We Know Senses Well, Do We?

We know how vision works, how hearing works, how touch works - from receptors to the way neurons process their signals. So, what is mystical about senses?

And anyway, laws of pfysics DO NOT DEPEND on sesnces, whether you use one or the other reference system, units, etc. - thay are SAME for all aliens, devices, etc.
