Alex,

If someone came along with big ice cream scooper and scooped up the whole universe, waived a magic wand and the universe - including space - were to vanish as if it had never been, would there still be anything left that we can say exists? If nothing exists, then what happens to math? If math exists, then you agree that material things are not the whole of something. This is the premise of an afterlife. There is more to an individual than our body, such as there is more to the universe than matter.
