Isn't the need to believe in an allmighty character a way to avoid your responsablity as a man? It seems that God enters whenever there is something we don't understand or when we find ourselves powerless. God is also a way to blame something else for our actions. I'm not sure that the future generations will accept that we can avoid responsability, just like that...
