Your title made me expect a rebuttal, but your text seemed to fall in line with mine: artificial consciousness can be produced, it's just a matter of complexity.

I suppose I don't know if anyone else is conscious. But considering that I am virtually genetically identical to everyone else on the planet, I see no special qualities that I possess that would qualify me getting such different and special treatment.

What do you believe, Mark?
