The universe is infinite. Time goes infinitely into the past. God is everything and is therefore infinite. The consciousness of God, at least the portion revealed to man, is a little less than infinite, and does not even understand him/herself according to Isaiah. That quote from Isaiah is a key statement in the Bible. It suggests that God is the truth, but may not know it or be able to express it, as in the Bible.
