Jisbond, I believe you seem to make a gleaming error. Just because we can't know why the universe is, doesn't mean that the universe isn't the way it is. My favorite color is a fact. Irregardless of what you may think my favorite color is, based on observations, my favorite color is written in stone. So is the way of the universe. One musn't need to understand it for it to be the way it is.

Your error seems to come in a false conclusion. Because we can't determine the direct origin of the universe, we are not given a green light to irrationally think that this is proof of god. The origin of god is as questionable as the origin of the universe. So you can not bring the intangible origins of the universe against itself, but not hold the same standard to god. That isn't being linear.
