Luis,

I know there's a reason why I 'hang around' you folks. This is very interesting. I had no idea that Smith was an ethical philosopher prior to dabbling in economics (his fame I guess arose from his utilitarian ethics theory that he borrowed from Locke and Hume). It's just another example of the hidden effect that philosohy has made in the direct impact to civilization. Where would we be without Adam Smith?
