Hello,

This is an informal forum so although your patients may call you doctor is it okay I call you Kyle?

>>>There exists no one who knows that there IS a God, there exists no one who knows that there is NOT a God. I repeat, with conviction: NO ONE. Period.>There is no experiment to test for the existence of God, or for the absence of God. There are many believers of many different things. If the goal is Truth, then the Scientific Method is our best current path to Truth, albeit it is a long hard journey.>Following this path may be mundane at times, exciting at times, but "BELIEF" alone, regardless of the subtle variations in it’s interpretation, does NOT constitute a shortcut on this path if it is in the absence of evidence-- rather, at times it leads us to stray far off the road. Science in pure form does not acknowledge the presence or absence of God, it is irrelevant to the task at hand, which is only to make the long and arduous journey down the road. Ultimate Truth is at the very distant end of the road...we’ll see about God when we get there.>>If a scientist must speak on the topic of God, he (as a true scientist) must do so using the fundamental known quantities of science.>>The TRUE beauty of the universe is revealed through Science, not through belief in God.
