Hi Dick

It's funny, when I first "met" you I thought you were bright but too cold-hearted. I don't know why but it seems that there's usually an inverse relationship between a person's brain and heart. I try not to be too rational myself, I often shock people when I say things that make sense but they don't want to think about. As I grow older I'm getting dumber and mellower. I hope it's a good thing.

Anyway, I was quite surprised when I started to see that you have a big heart. For all your talk of math and physics, you seem to be a very humane person. I guess it's just your sense of humour that's very wicked, most of it I get, what escapes me I often misinterpret as arrogance. I will never forget when you compared physics to astrology. When you first said it I thought you were an imbecile; when I read your explanation weeks later I thought it made perfect sense. So even though I'll still criticize you when I get a chance, at least now I'm fully convinced that you are much more complex and profound than you appear to be. Which makes you like almost everyone else, and that's a great thing.

Have fun, and drop by once in a while to stir things up a bit
