No Democracy In Arabia

My Dear Rich:
In Muslim society there is no “ONE” clergy, as such, representing the whole of Islam. (there are Imams like Rabies who study the laws and give advice to the "supposedly" democratically elected leaders [e.g. in Arabia there is not supposed to be a king any more]). The history is complex and many sects developed (a power struggle erupted) after the Prophet (peace be upon him) ascended in to heaven. Muslims too are waiting for the return of Jesus and Muhammed (peace & blessings be upon them both). The Qura’n specifies that Jesus (peace be upon him) shall be a sign unto mankind.

The Prophet brought democracy in to Arabia. But much corruption was to follow after his departure.
Love,
Jisbond
