When you say that religion did not cause the crusades, I disagree. However, I know what you mean. "The good side of religion" certainly did not cause the crusades, but religion facilitated the crusades (Muslims should be very familiar with the Crusades!).

My post was not 'absolutely wrong.' Go back and check what you'd written to elicit my response. Here's a part of it:
