The tree did make a sound. Oh, yes it did.

If it does when you are there. It will when you are not.

You, from your perspective - when you are a witness, can describe the sound, it's duration, it's intensity, and other characteristics about the sound or fall of the tree.

When you are not there, imagination and your past experiences can help describe and reasonably assume what the exact characteristics or nature of the fall was about/like.


Whether it's about a tree, religion, etc..

Should not matter.
