QUETTA, Pakistan (CNN) -- Pakistani officials told CNN Wednesday the situation along its border with Afghanistan has been getting increasingly tense over the past two or three days.


Correspondent Nic Robertson reported seeing hundreds of men on the Afghan side of the border throwing rocks at Pakistani policemen. He said the policemen gestured their weapons at the men but did not fire.
