For example, even though I don't think that the apocalypse is going to happen due to this terrorist attack, I could find Bible verses that would support this conclusion. Even though I don't have any belief in God, I could describe him (He has long white hair and a deep voice) and even though I believe in evolution, I could, to play devil's advocate, take the other side.

Don't let beliefs restrict your range of thought. Accidents could exist if truly random events occur, for instance.
