The world is still a wonderful place and there are still plenty of enjoyable times ahead. The book of Revelation was written at a time of peril and no doubt they wrote about what they thought was then happening (and very soon to happen). I'm convinced that the world will eventually experience such a critical point, but I hope (!) that it is thousands of years if not hundreds of thousands of years from now. Don't forget, a hundred thousand years is nothing compared to the vast amount of time in evolution. We should keep this perspective heavily in mind.

Warm regards, Harv
