is that religion tends to explain the unexplainable in terms of an untestable myth and calls it truth.

Meanwhile, science will try to explain the unexplainable in terms of experiences of past and intuition of the future and tends to call it theory and postulates.

Religion claims to know all. Science claims its purpose is to learn all. While science can adjust with contradictory findings, religion is steadfast and can not adjust to new findings of reality. As the dinosaurs died off because of their inability to adapt, so will religion die off for the same reason.
