If you wish to try what I tried:

Don't just read the Bible if you wish to reach the facts. I have found that reading the Bible in the way that churches teach it is most illogical. I say this because they skip so much of the text and what one can read between the lines. Try reading the whole text and then try reading Islamic books (be careful also with Islam because some clergy also skip many areas which one would find logical and useful). You will see what I mean.

Reading and investigating the text of the Bible and the Qur'an helped me and worked for me.

Peace,
Jisbond
