: : : ***Yes, history repeats itself over and over, religion is the major tool used to gain and maintain power, control and manipulation over the people on this planet.

: What a complete bull. : Religion is its nature a very personal state of mind of a person. : It represents the most fundemental concepts of how a person percieves the world around him. : The freedom to think is the hardest thing to take away from a person. : Allthough many "leaders" think the masses are following them because : they "represent" a god, the truth is that they only : can manipulate and control the masses by pure force. : Have you ever seen a person in history whom could manipulate and control : the masses without the physical force to control the masses?

: : Gerwin

***Don't make me laugh, check out history will you? Religion was govt before there ever was the concept of govt, and force in large numbers was assembled for wars based on religion. Get a grip! Furthermore, now you seem to be telling me that a person must accept institutionalized religion over inner spirituality. Let someone else dictate your beliefs for you? Individual=spirituality Institution=religion You said yourself that religion is a most personal entity, so maybe it is terminology again. Another thing, in regards to leadership, mentioning god is a requirement, could a christian be elected in china, a musslum in the U.S., a buddist in europe, an athiest anywhere? Why did we help to create the state of Isreal? Why did we not palestine? You tell me!
