check all the astronomy sites (sky & telescope, astronomy both list links to astronomy clubs)... see what they use (some of them might have a used scope that you could get for a steal) ... i would also STRONGLY consider binoculars (7x50 or 10x50) before getting a scope in that price range.... then save until you can afford something between $350 and 500. good luck de |
