Dear Chris, I, too, have begun, recently, to recover my interest in astronomy. I used to read a lot about it as a child. But, I guess that I lost my interest, or maybe just gave up on it, because I had nobody who enjoyed discussing it as much as I did, or just hearing about theories regarding the universe, or even just reading, and watching the stars at night, and trying to see "falling" stars, and looking at planets, etc. I don't know how much you know about astronomy, but I'm pretty amateur with this topic, too.
