I purchased one of their binoculars a few years ago. One of the prisms ws misaligned. They were very quick to exchange for another pair that I have been happy with. I have also puchased other brands from them and again found them willing to stand behind their sales regardless of the name on the equipment. : : : I am thinking about buying some Orion telescopes : : (8 inch Dobs. and the new 80mm Short tube refractor) : : and was wondering if anyone has any comments on the : : quality of Orion products- and customer support by the : : company. Is the meade Dobs. any better than the Orion? : : any help would be appreciated. I saw the Shorttube : : in sky and telescope and they gave it a good review. : Well, what did you end up doing and what did you find out? I am now searching for a telescope.
