: The television science fiction series Star Trek (Deep Space Nine) takes place far away from earth near Bajor. The series take place on space station Deep Space Nine, which was an originally a Cadassian outpost in space which was abaundon after Bajor was freed. What star system does Bajor located at and how far is Deep Space Nine from earth (In Light Years)?

According to the Tech manual, The bajoran system is about 50 light years from us. near Stars : MX-774, PS-214, SN1987A, 7168-l, 631729, and 635483. Wether these are real or not I can't say.
