The best place in the Universe to mine diamond is on black dwarf. Black Dwarf is a cooled down White Dwarf Star. Since white dwarf is made mostly of carbon, an element which is diamond is made of. Diamond need high temperate and pressure to be formed. Because of high temperature and pressure on white dwarf star is a very suitable enviroment to produce diamond. I am absolutely sure there is a very good quality diamonds on black dwarf.
