Castor is seen as a triple star, but actually it is a three sets of double stars. Since it is the second brightest star in constellation Gemini, however it is label as Alpha Geminium. This star system consist of two sets of white main sequence stars and one set of orange main sequence star. The whole system consists of six stars, but we are not sure there is any planet orbiting one of them. Two sets of white stars orbit around every 180 years and the orange star orbit the white stars perhaps every 100,000 years.
