Mark, I know that Orion makes a 6" Mak-cassegrain scope and a Mak-Newtonian that got "darn-good" optics ratings in April's Sky&Telescope. Both scopes run$1,100 to $1,200 range. I might have seriously considered a Mak-newt for my first scope if I had known more about them at the time. E-mail me if you have any more questions |
