I'm trying to choose between two Dobs to get my 8-year-old started in general observing. Both are 6", f.8:
Orion SkyQuest XT6
Celestron Starhopper 6

The Orion comes with two eyepieces; the Celestron with one. From the descriptions, I don't see any other major differences. Both cost $249.

Anyone have any opinions? Thanks,
