You claim that PSI as derived from C is unique, because it has to be independent of mapping. My question is: can PSI ever be independent of mapping, if C is dependent on mapping.

I offered examples in which it appeared to me that C depended on the mapping. I will continue the discussion if you would kindly address that question. The most informative answer from you would be to suggest examples of C where the mapping was variable; or at least for my example of polling data, indicate how the data is independent of the rules used to collect it.
