"quantum information derived" in my searching parameters. I used a few other combinations, but those parameters produced the most hits.

My view is that we are approaching a period that is similar to when Feynman, Tomonaga, and Julian Schwinger each produced a QED theory with accurate predictions. It wasn't until Freeman Dyson that it was shown these were all equivalent theories. Perhaps on some deep level, information, cryptography, boolean logic, etc, share some fundamental characteristics that produce quantum theory, etc. Dick is one of those people who evidently stumbled upon something significant here, but he obviously has no clue to what it is. Well, his views might have been more significant had he stuck to just the foundational stuff, but instead he ventured off into philosophy. Bad mistake.
