Anything is possible, of course. However, the universe in my reckoning seems too big for earthlings to have any shot at competing head on with whatever intelligence is out there. My thought is that the 'winner' is our descendants who will join the Galactic Civilations of the Known Universe (GCKU) and all biology/AI life will eventually evolve into some kind of unified neural network that somehow lands us on Boardwalk. Whoever owns Boardwalk will collect the remnants of the universe and start counting their money. At that point, perhaps another game?
