My 2 friends, me, and a few drunk strangers were in a campground next to a lake on the Manitoba/Ontario, Canada border at about 2am. There was only one very wispy rainbow type cloud, a bunch of satellites were seen... and all of a sudden a huge flash that wasn't blinding as much as it lit up everything. The cloud, trees, lake, dock, everything. There was no one point from where it came from, just looked like everything turned into day or brighter for a split second. We were all very calm about but had no idea what it could of been. I had read about an asteroid exploding over Russia and knocking over all those trees and wondered if it could of been one exploding higher in the sky. Can someone help explain this?
