Hi,

I am currently looking to replacing my present scope, a 4.5: reflecter by Tasco. I have approx $700 to do so. I live in a highly light polluted area and have limited space to store the scope, not much more room than the 4.5" scope now takes up. My observation interest are general. I do need ep's nor a new finder scope.

I have thought of the EXT 90AT by Meade. I know that I will be reducing my aperture, but I believe the upgrade in optics will be noticible plus, the goto feature will be nice. Also, it will satisfy my storage problem.

Do you think I would be better served to put my money into a larger aperture. Perhaps look into a Dob etc?

Any advice will be appreciated.
