yes i'm looking into string theory, kind of lost in it for now though...
the black hole scenario is interesting. virtual particles are supposed to play a part in the radiating of black holes, i'm not aware of what laws of physics hold inside a black hole but the event horizon is supposed to be where virtual particles are "torn" apart allowing radiation to eminate from the horizon. that scenario is interestingly analogus to the physical expansion of our universe into nothingness. kind of a reverse process
but i wonder how would a big bang eminate from a black hole? would it not just expand out into the already existing universe that the black hole resides in? or is the idea that the big bang takes place inside the black hole, actually creating a universe that resides within the given black hole?
