Thank you. It all sounds like encouragments to me to try again and be patient.
My observation place is on my terrace in a far suburb of Brussels(Belgium). Belgium is a humid country and I have many lawns, meadows and wood parcels all around.
That must play a role in atmosphere transparancy and steadiness.
The magnifications I try are with a 26mm Meade Super Plossl (x77) then a Vixen LVW 13mm (x154) and finally with a apochromatic Meade Barlow (154x2 or 154x3), but the results with the barlow are always very far from my expectations, so that I almost don't use it.
