: I am thinking about buying some Orion telescopes : (8 inch Dobs. and the new 80mm Short tube refractor) : and was wondering if anyone has any comments on the : quality of Orion products- and customer support by the : company. Is the meade Dobs. any better than the Orion? : any help would be appreciated. I saw the Shorttube : in sky and telescope and they gave it a good review. I have an Orion 90mm. I am quite pleased.The optics are good and the mount is no less imprecise than others that I have used.The mount is also very stable.They are very good to deal with,also.Clear Skies!!! |
