...that they picked up cheap elsewhere. Some of it is good. Some isn't. Who knows whether the color correction is worth a hoot? Are the lenses glass or plastic? How much eye relief is there? Can the distance between eyepieces be adjusted to match YOUR interpupillary distance (my eyes are set closer together than average, and I always have to consider that when I look at binoculars)?
Are they well collimated so that you can fuse the two images into one?
On the other hand, sometimes Apogee has major bargains. Buyer beware.
