Binoculars, Can This Be Correct?

I just got the Dec. S&T magazine, on pg 144 Apogee has an ad for their new 25x100 binocular, BK4 prisms, Multi coated etc. Regular price $349 Introductory price $299. No I didn't type that wrong, Apogee 25x100 binos $299. What's up with that? The cheapest 25x100 binos I've seen are the Orion $1,150 and they don't even list them any more.
