Bernice's Hair is a group of stars near the Constellation Leo, and yes, difficult, difficult to find any extensive or detailed info on unless you search history.

It is from an ancient Egyptian legend...which actually is how I ended up here. As the legend goes, Bernice, or Benghazi which means Bernice in Egyptian (And yes, is a seaport city in Lybia)daughter of Ptolemy, offered to give a lock of her hair to the Greek goddess Aphrodite if her husband would return safely from war. Her husband did, and hence, Bernice's hair was enshrined in the heavens.
