Jupiter is quite a bit above Orion and just in the lower part of Gemini right now. How does the moon look? Can you focus properly and see craters? If you can, then you are not looking at Jupiter. On the evening of Mar. 21st at about 10:00 PM, the moon will be just below Jupiter and should make it easy to identify. I think that what you are now looking at is one of the stars in Gemini and Jupiter will be a bit to the right.

Try again using your lowest power and look at all the bright objects in the area. One of them will be Jupiter and it will definitely show a disc.
