I am ready to move up from a 'department store' reflector to something better. I have very little storage space and want something small, portable and lightweight. These choices brought me to look at the Celestron G5 & the Orion Starmax 127mm. They are both within my budget, however the G5 is a little more than the Orion. I am interested in hearing from folks who have experience with either or both of these scopes.
I'll look forward to your comments.
