Dear Colleagues,

I recently posted my new article 'The Solar (Eclipse) Gods of Ancient Egypt, Part VI, A Tale of Two Lions'.
The study is a new tackle on the origin and role of the Egyptian god Shu, the god of light, and his wife Tefnut.
The study explains why they had been depicted as a pair of lions guarding the Sun.
The study presents the discovery of an ancient Nubian solar eclipse record for the first time.
The study is available at the Forum of Akhet Egyptology at:

http://www.akhet.co.uk/index.htm

I hope you would enjoy it!

Best Regards,
Aymen
