You'll be able to jump in when people a discussing what's the best started scope the 114 reflector of the 80MM refractor. I go with the refractor. I don't think the extra 1.4" in aperture make that much a difference. The refractor makes up fo it in clarity. But you'll be the expert owning both. At the very least you can jump in when the subject comes up.
