I have a Celestron 114GT plus a Meade 4000 26mm plossl, a 15mm and 6mm GTP plossl and the two standard SMA (25mm and 10mm) eyepieces.

I have na opportunity to buy a Celestron 80 OTA with 90 degree diagonal.

My thoughts are that I could have the best of both worlds (reflector and refractor) for little cost. I could modify the clamp holder on the 114 to hold the 80mm.

Think I'm waisting my money? Will my viewing options improve/increase?
