I should have gone to Bill Arnetts' web site, The Nine Planets, for a good write up about Other Planetary Systems. There is even something there about Vega. The IRAS satellite found that Vega had too much infrared emission, and that has been attributed to a dust shell (with a mass of maybe Earth's moon).
There at least you know someone has tried to find planets around stars in the Lyra constellation.
