I exclusivly use black on white Sky Atlas 2000 laminated. Why? Because I use it to mark or draw lines that I can see with a red light at night. White on black is alright and it does help in identifying star patterns by it's relation to the sky. My laminated version has notes and marks and "guide paths" I use when star hopping (I do that alot). It's easier for me to measure arc measurments when using a white background. It's really about preferences. Some people like it this way, others the other way. |
