You saw Jupiter! Venus is in the morning sky right now, but jupiter is up right overhead at around 11:00PM this time of year. Jupiter also has 4 easily observable sats (the Galilean moons, discovered by Galileo). if you watch them over a period of about 30-90 minutes, you can actually see them move in relation to both jupiter and one another.

: It was about 11:00 o'clock pm central and I was looking at Venus from Chicago and saw what appeared to be four satilites. I read that Venus does not have any so I am a bit confused as to what I saw. The objects where perfectly alligned hoizontally across as wass as perfectly spaced apart. If anyone could give me some insightas to what this may be i would greatly appreciate it. : Thank you
